This nonprofit is founded from a personal experience of surviving a double attempted homicide while eight months pregnant, over a thousand miles away from home, and with an eight year old child present. No friends, no family, no job, just devastation.
While providing real time resources for real time victims and their family is our main focus, public safety and privacy also stays at the forefront.
Our mission at Confronting Domestic Violence, Inc. is to provide real-time resources to real-time victims/survivors and offer relocation assistance when families have a safe place to go and not the means to get there.
Every penny matters. Each person has their unique situation and different needs. Children deserve to feel safe at home, and relocation expenses are costly.
Our vision at Confronting Domestic Violence, Inc. is a future where every survivor can heal, move beyond survival, and build lasting independence, preventing homelessness and ending the cycle of return.
We believe prevention is one of the greatest acts of love and leadership.
When individuals, organizations, and communities work together, they can recognize risk earlier, strengthen support systems, and create opportunities for survivors to heal, grow, and thrive.

Together, we can build a future where safety is strengthened through prevention, hope is restored through collaboration, and every person has the opportunity to live free from violence.
We host events online and in person, all year round. Volunteers, speakers, contributors, sponsors- all are welcomed and deeply appreciated.
Our events are intended to raise awareness, raise funds, provide resources needed and offer the community guidance to help prevent the continuation of domestic violence and the cycle of return.
